In the middle of the Bay Area — between startups, freeways, and the relentless pace of modern California life — there exists a room where time moves differently. Where incense drifts. Where old hymns are sung in a language that carries centuries.

The parish was founded on 9 March 2008 — the feast of the Holy Forty Martyrs of Sebastia — by families who wanted to worship under the blessing of the Church they grew up in. It met wherever there was room: a church in San Leandro, another in Castro Valley, then many years in Hayward. In 2025 it came to Park Boulevard. What began as a handful of families on a Sunday morning grew, quietly and naturally, into a true community.

Rev. Fr. Gabriel Curpene and Preoteasa Claudia Andreea are the quiet center of everything here. Their door is always open. Their table is always set.
